In November 2010, he debuted as a vocalist of J SOUL BROTHERS III with the single "Best Friend's Girl".

In 2014, he made his debut as an actor in the movie "HOT ROAD" (Directed by Takahiro Miki). With this movie, he won Newcomer Award at the 39th Hochi Film Awards, Sponichi Grand Prix Newcomer Award at the 69TH MAINICHI FILM AWARDS, Newcomer Award (Toshiko Minami Award) at the 24TH JAPAN MOVIE CRITICS AWARDS and New Actor Award at the 38th Japan Academy Film Prize, which made his acting debut even more spectacular.

In October 2015, he released his first photo essay "NOBODY KNOWS" which has sold more than 180 thousand copies.

As a Japanese celebrity guest, he was invited to "Dior HOMME 2017-2018 AW Paris Collection" held in Paris, France in January 2017 and "Dior HOMME 2018 SS Paris Collection" in June 2017. He has been getting a lot of attention in the fashion industry.
In July of the same year, he released his first digital single "WASTED LOVE" as HIROOMI TOSAKA which marked the start of his solo project.

His first solo arena tour HIROOMI TOSAKA LIVE TOUR 2018 "FULL MOON" held from August 2018 had 23 shows in 11 cities around Japan and attracted 240 thousand viewers.

He starred in the movie "Snow Flower" which was released in February 2019. It was his first appearance in a romantic movie since the appearance in "HOT ROAD" 5 years ago. The song "BLUE SAPPHIRE" from his single "SUPERMOON" released on April 10 has been selected as the theme song of the movie "Detective Conan: The Fist of Blue Sapphire" that opened in theatres in April.
After releasing a digital single "SUPERMOON ~Sen~" in July 2019, he held the first LDH artists’ overseas solo concert "HIROOMI TOSAKA Taipei Show 2019 SUPERMOON ~UNDER THE MOONLIGHT~". He was also appointed as the goodwill ambassador of Taipei's tourism and has been drawing a lot of attention as a solo artist.

From January to February 2020, he and Ryuji Imaichi held the "LDH PERFECT YEAR 2020 SPECIAL SHOWCASE RYUJI IMAICHI / HIROOMI TOSAKA" dome tour with 9 shows in 3 cities.
He launched a wear collection "CLAIR DE LUNE" as one of the projects in support of his solo activities. Through expressing his unique worldview with various cultures, he extends his activity scope not only as a vocalist and actor but also as an artist and performer.
